【序論】
本研究の目的は、シリアのパルミラ遺跡における歴史的遺産の保護と再建に向けた道筋を明らかにすることである。パルミラは、古代ローマ時代に栄えた繁栄した都市であり、その中心には驚くべき建造物や彫刻が存在していた。しかし、近年の紛争や破壊行為により、パルミラの遺産は危機にさらされている。この論文では、パルミラが抱える問題を分析し、保護と再建のための具体的な手法について検討する。具体的には、国際的な協力の必要性や、現地の文化遺産専門家との連携の重要性に着目し、持続可能な復興のための戦略を提案する。また、保護策や教育活動の重要性についても考察し、パルミラの遺産を未来の世代に継承するための持続的な取り組みについても言及する。本研究の成果は、パルミラ遺跡の保護と再建に関心を持つ研究者や政府機関にとって貴重なガイドとなることを期待している。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the path towards the preservation and reconstruction of the historical heritage in the ancient city of Palmyra in Syria. Palmyra was a prosperous city during the ancient Roman era, known for its remarkable buildings and sculptures. However, recent conflicts and acts of destruction have put the heritage of Palmyra in imminent danger. In this paper, we analyze the problems faced by Palmyra and consider concrete methods for its preservation and reconstruction. Specifically, we focus on the necessity of international cooperation and the importance of collaboration with local cultural heritage experts to propose strategies for sustainable recovery. We also discuss the importance of protective measures and educational activities, addressing the need for ongoing efforts to pass on the heritage of Palmyra to future generations. We hope that the findings of this study will serve as a valuable guide for researchers and government agencies interested in the preservation and reconstruction of the Palmyra site.
