【序論】
近年、地方自治体はますます重要性を増しており、持続可能な地域社会の構築に寄与する役割を果たしています。しかし、地方自治体は様々な課題に直面しており、その解決にはさまざまな可能性が存在します。この論文では、地方自治の課題と可能性に焦点を当て、持続可能な地域社会の構築を目指すためにどのような施策が取られるべきかを探求します。具体的には、人口減少や高齢化の進行、産業の衰退など、地方自治体が直面する課題を分析し、その解決策として地域振興や地域資源の活用などに注目します。さらに、地方自治体と市民の協働や情報・通信技術の活用など、地域社会を持続可能なものにするための可能性を検討します。本研究の成果は、地方自治体の政策立案や地域社会の発展に貢献すると期待されます。
【本論】
Recent years have seen an increasing importance of local governments, as they play a role in contributing to the development of sustainable local communities. However, local governments face various challenges, and there are various possibilities for addressing these challenges. This paper focuses on the issues and possibilities of local autonomy and explores what measures should be taken to create sustainable local communities. Specifically, it analyzes the challenges faced by local governments such as population decline, aging society, and industrial decline, and highlights the importance of regional revitalization and utilization of local resources as solutions. Furthermore, it examines the potential for collaboration between local governments and citizens, as well as the use of information and communication technology to make the local community sustainable. The results of this research are expected to contribute to policy planning of local governments and the development of local communities.
