In recent years, subsidies have become an important means for promoting economic development and sustainable growth in many countries and regions. However, research on the effectiveness and sustainability of subsidies remains limited, and further insights are needed. In this paper, we explore the relationship between the effectiveness and sustainability of subsidies through case studies. Specifically, we will examine the design and implementation of subsidies, evaluate their effects, and analyze them from a sustainability perspective. Case studies are an excellent method for revealing the effects of subsidies and their impact on the economy and society through multiple real-world examples. Additionally, the analysis from a sustainability perspective will not only focus on short-term effects but also discuss long-term impacts and fiscal sustainability. The results of this paper are expected to provide valuable insights for policymakers and researchers in designing and implementing effective subsidies.
